As a passionate Web Designer and Front-End Developer seasoned in working in the fast-paced, ever-changing web environment, I have learned to produce both usable and aesthetically pleasing designs, specializing in XHTML and CSS structures.
I possess a wide range of knowledge and experience in the field, and can manage projects with multiple members and clients. With an eye for detail and a user-perspective approach, I am able to capably balance the creative aspects of site designs while still maintaining usability.
Above all, however, I am a problem solver who always loves a challenge, and I always design for the user and not the other way around.
HVAC Distributing
HVAC Distributing is the website for the warehouse that Ingram’s Water and Air owns. This website was made separate from the original website because we have had to rebrand certain manufacturers products. Doing so, allowed us to create a second identity to sell these products. HVAC Distributing is now the name of the warehouse in Clarksville which holds all of the HVAC equipment.
Ingrams Water and Air
Ingrams Water and Air is a company that sells HVAC (Heating and Air) Equipment at wholesale price on the web. They are located in Paducah Kentucky, however most of their business comes from online sales. Since I have started working for Ingrams, I have created numberous websites and done many projects for them. This website gets, on average, 1500 unique visitors per day, sometimes spiking up to well beyond 2500. Ingram’s, as of last year, made the INC 500 list (top 500 fastest growing companies in America). I do all of the website work, as well as online search engine optimization for this company.
Tips for Web Traffic
This website was created as a learning tool for myself. By creating this website I was able to research different aspects of internet marketing such as search engine optimization and web 2.0 promotion. This website offers the complete process, from start to finish, on choosing a topic for a website, researching keywords for proper search engine placement, promoting and building backlinks for that website, and finally monitoring the traffic to know where the visitors are coming from.
Tips for Web Traffic uses Joomla! 1.5 content management system, with a completely custom, easy on the eye, template. The top navigation is done in CSS through a Joomla plugin called RokNavMenu. The entire coding of this website is done from PHP and the design is pulled from a stylesheet. Also included, is a discussion board powered by phpBB, which also has a completely custom template to match the main website.
This website is only about one month old, however, already has 150 people signed up for the weekly newsletter. This website has peaked on Google as #1 for keyword “tips for web traffic” of 60,800,000 other websites targeting this keyword, however is now at position 17 after being re-indexed. This website has also peaked at #7 and #15 for keywords “website traffic tips” and “web traffic tips” respectively. Tips for web traffic has also peaked at 400 unique visitors in a 24 hour period, with an average of 85 unique visitors and 50 returning visitors per day. Although only a month old, this website has generated $118.68 in revenue since August 7, 2009.

Choosing a Web Host
Choosing a Web Host offers reviews on popular, large user based web hosting companies. Many factors go into the decision of choosing the right web hosting company, which is why I created this website and give each web host a score based on it’s reliability, customer support, billing & pricing, and features. The same scoring rubric is used for each host that is reviewed.
This website was started as a side project in hopes of generating extra revenue, however has yet to be successful because of lack of promotion. This website is listed and peaked in the Google rankings as #21 for keyword “choosing a web host” of 39,600,000 other websites targeting this keyword, and could easily be brought to position #1 with enough promotion, as the promotion that I have done for this website is minimal.
This website uses Wordpress content management system and has a completely customized template. Although not as complex as the tips for web traffic website, it serves the purpose well. The top navigation is done in CSS and all of the images and reviews are created by me. This website may be something that I pick up on at a later time by adding more reviews and promoting this website to reach the desired search engine rankings, however my time has been sacrificed for the tips for web traffic website, this portfolio website, and numberous PC repairs.

Horizon
This website was created for an online PC and XBox360 gaming team. Although this website is for a gaming team, I did put a lot of work into it with both the design and coding. The design was completely created by me and took about 2 weeks to finish. After the design was done, I began coding this website which took another 2 to 3 weeks.
This website uses bits and pieces of a free content management system known as WebSpell. However, it was hardly usable because most of the instructions and coding descriptions are in German, so I was forced to create most of the content management system from scratch. After the month of hard work and banging my head against the wall trying to get the code to work the way I wanted it to, the outcome paid off very well. Because of this website, I now have a custom content management system and design that I can resell if I choose.
This website has not been promoted whatsoever, however Google seems to place it at positions #1 and #2 for the keyword “horizon clan”, which is surprising because this website was not created for search engine optimization. This website was not created to generate revenue, but for a project to increase my skills in website design and development.

Graves County High School
I designed and maintained the Graves County High School website my Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior years of high school. I designed the entire website and used an iframe (inner frame) in the middle for content. I believed that this was the easiest way to manage the content on the page without having to use a content management system, which at the time I was unaware of how to customize templates. This website was done in static HTML and updated every morning with school news and events by me.
All of the images on this website do not load because it is only an archive or the original. I do not have a copy of the original, and the website was kept on web servers provided by the Graves County School District. This website was created in November of 2006 and has since been replaced by another design. A complete archive of the Graves County High School website can be found at http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.graves.k12.ky.us/schools/gchs/. I no longer design or maintain the Graves County High School website
Future Website Projects
I may choose to use these domains for new websites or possibly redirect to Choosing a Web Host.

Below are pages that I have created for promotional purposes. Web 2.0 is a new way of promoting websites to increase the amount of quality backlinks to a particular website for the purposes of getting ranked better within Search Engines such as Google and Yahoo.
Squidoo - Website Traffic Tips
Squidoo is a powerful resource that many webmasters and marketers take advantage of. There is a lot of traffic to this website and the page itself ranks very well in search engines, giving the visitor another opportunity to find a website. Squidoo allows webmasters to provide links to their website, which is a huge advantage because it creates a backlink that is generally of high page rank. Web 2.0 combined with social bookmarking and participating in forum discussion can boost a website to page one on Google in a matter of days. Web 2.0 websites like this generally allow and promote the webmaster adding additional modules such as an RSS feed, Twitter updates, YouTube videos, and informational text.
Hubpages - Website Traffic Tips
Another powerful tool to use for promotional purposes is Hubpages. Hubpages also has a large number of visitors and is basically the same thing. However, Hubpages requires webmasters to obtain a score of at least 70 before they will remove the nofollow attribute of their link. This means, that if the hub does not have a score of at least 70, any links within that hub will not be credited for the content and the link will not count for page rank or search engine ranking. “Hubs” alone will often rank very well in search engines because of their nature of being hosted by a website that already has a high page rank and is credited as a trusted website with Google and Yahoo.

Wordpress - Tips for Website Traffic
Wordpress, like the other 2.0 websites, allows a webmaster to quickly start a blog page and add information to teach others as well as promote their own website. Wordpress.com is almost identical to the content management system that this website runs off of, except it can be setup directly from Wordpress.com rather downloading the software and installing it on a web server. Wordpress has a unique feature that allows the tagging of keywords through their database. Tagging keywords can increase the chances that a website will rank better in search engines by providing multiple backlinks for each tag that is used.

Over the years I have built and repaired many home computers to the specifications of the users needs. This has ranged from creating computers from scratch, installing and updating security software, reformatting hard drives, reinstalling Operating Systems, and replacing internal components. I am very familiar with many different Operating Systems, mainly Windows, and can answer questions or give someone support via phone to solve their problem. I have also solved a number of problems using the Remote Desktop and Remote Assistance features.
Although I have had most experience with home computers running a version of Windows home or professional edition, I am also familiar with server operating systems and handling issues within Active Directory as well.
