Narrowing these keywords down to about 5-6 to start out with is the best idea. After you have targeted a few keywords, choose to target long tail keywords of that particular one. Example: heat pump, buy heat pump, buy goodman heat pump.

Once you have successfully targeted the 5-6 initial keywords, start targeting other keywords.

ipconfig

tracert
The tracert command is used to visually see a network packet being sent and received and the amount of hops required for that packet to get to its destination.

Users with Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows XP who need additional information network latency and network loss should also consider using the pathping command.

ping
Helps in determining TCP/IP Networks IP address as well as determine issues with the network and assists in resolving them.

pathping
Provides information about network latency and network loss at intermediate hops between a source and destination. Pathping sends multiple Echo Request messages to each router between a source and destination over a period of time and then computes results based on the packets returned from each router.

telnet
Telnet is software that allows users to remotely access another computer such as a server, network device, or other computer. With telnet users can connect to a device or computer, manage a network device, setup a device, transfer files, etc.

ftp
FTP is short for File Transfer Protocol, this page contains additional information about the FTP command and help using that command in Unix and MS-DOS (Windows).

route
The function and syntax of the Windows ROUTE command is similar to the UNIX or Linux route command. Use the command to manually configure the routes in the routing table.

arp
Displays, adds, and removes arp information from network devices.

nslookup
Displays information that you can use to diagnose Domain Name System (DNS) infrastructure. Before using this tool, you should be familiar with how DNS works. The Nslookup command-line tool is available only if you have installed the TCP/IP protocol.

nbtstat
MS-DOS utility that displays protocol statistics and current TCP/IP connections using NBT.

netsh

One common way of using netsh is to reset the TCP/IP in Windows 2k/XP

Type this in Run or DOS Window – “netsh int ip reset”

In Windows XP you can run a graphical diagnostics by typing “netsh diag gui” into the run dialogue box. (This may take a little time to startup)

getmac

DOS command used to show both local and remote MAC addresses. When run with no parameters (ie. getmac) it displays MAC addresses for the local system. When run with the /s parameter (eg. getmac /s \\foo) it displays MAC addresses for the remote computer. When the /v parameter is used, it also displays the associated connection name and network adapter name.

There is a really neat way that you can quite easily find all active/used IP Addresses on your network without the need for any third party applications or worse, pinging each IP Address individually.

Because of the lack of billing options they provide, we deducted 2 points from their total possible points.

Because of the number of features that lunarpages offers, we believe that the 2 possible points given to them for features is well earned. The overall final score for this host that we give is an 8 out of 10. If lunarpages had a better billing cycle, they would be a much better host. However, unless you are wanting to host your website for a long period of time (5 Years for the best price) we suggest finding a different web host.

JustHost is a decent host to consider. However, their marketing can be very deceiving. Most of their advertisement banners advertise hosting for $4.95 per month to host unlimited websites on unlimited disk space and unlimited bandwidth. However, you get to their website and soon find out that if you want that $4.95 price, you must prepay 2 years in advance. JustHost does offer a monthly package, however charge a $20 setup fee, which I believe is a bit ridiculous. If you choose to pay per month, the price jumps up to $7.95. Because of the hosting packages and prices they offer, we deducted 3 points from their total of 10 possible.

As far as reliability, JustHost claims to have 99.9% uptime guaranteed. If they do not have at least this minimum, they guarantee a free month of hosting. Customer service is seems to be good, as they offer both 24/7 phone and email support. Emails are normally answered within 20 minutes, and average phone hold time is under 3 minutes. JustHost offers a money back guarantee. If you are unsatisfied with the service that JustHost has provided you, you may cancel your account at any time and JustHost will refund you for the remainder of your term.

Without the correct keywords, you will not be able to get the website to page one on Google, which in turn will not allow you to increase traffic to your website. By doing a phrase search, we are able to get a better idea of how many websites are currently targeting that particular keyword.

• Broad Keyword Search

A broad keyword search is done by simply typing any string into the search box and searching for those particular keywords. This is how everyone finds what they are looking for on Google and any other website alike.

A phrase keyword search is done by putting the string mentioned before in quotations such as “tom cruise best action movies reviews”. This allows us to see exactly how many other websites are targeting this same subject.

A niche, although sometimes a small group, can generate huge amount of revenue and web traffic. People who search for more targeted keywords are those who are what I like to call, quality visitors. Not only will we get quality visitors, we will also have much less competition to compete with when trying to get to the top of search engines.

Before starting a website, researching different niche’s is a very important practice. By creating a website about a niche that has millions upon millions of competition will take a long time to reach the top of search engines. If you are set on a specific topic that you want to make your website about and there is too much competition, it is a good idea to narrow the topic of your website. By narrowing the topic of a website you allow your website to have more potential. Here is a list I created to show how easy it is to narrow a subject down. If you are serious about creating a website that is going to be successful, you should plan it out before you begin the long journey of promoting it. Increasing your website traffic is much harder if you do not do the research and planning before attempting to promote it.

There is such thing as “over-niching” a subject. By this, I mean narrowing a subject too much. Very very few people are probably going to be doing searches for “dogs with three legs, one eye, and false teeth named Sam” so be careful not to narrow your subject down too far.

Refrain from using pictures and text that are too flashy or hard to read. Also, remember to add some color to your website and do not make it too bland. Ask yourself.. “what looks pleasing to me” or “what would I like to see when I visit this website” then do what you need to make that happen.
